Ripio's wFIAT Stablecoins Go Live on Arc Public Mainnet From Day One

BUENOS AIRES, September 16, 2026 — Ripio, one of Latin America's largest digital-asset companies, today announced that its complete wFIAT suite — wARS (Argentine peso), wBRL (Brazilian real), wCLP (Chilean peso), wCOP (Colombian peso), wMXN (Mexican peso), and wPEN (Peruvian sol) — is live on Arc, an open, EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain built for stablecoin finance, payments, and tokenized real-world assets, as of today's public mainnet launch. Ripio is among the first stablecoin issuers to bring a full family of non-USD, fully collateralized currencies to the network on day one.

The suite does not arrive alone. Ripio's existing Uniswap liquidity pools for wFIAT — already live across the networks the suite supports — now extend to Arc as part of the same launch,. KPK wARS Yield, the curated Morpho vault for wARS run by kpk, is now live on both Ethereum mainnet and Arc.

Live Since Day One as a Public Mainnet

Until now, launching on a new network has meant a gap between a chain going live and stablecoins actually being usable on it — bridges to wait for, liquidity to bootstrap, integrations to catch up. wFIAT closes that gap: every token in the suite is deployed, collateralized, and transferable on Arc from its first day as a public mainnet, so builders and users arriving early already have six Latin American currencies to work with.

Liquidity via Uniswap

All six wFIAT tokens already have Uniswap pools across the networks Ripio supports, and Arc joins that list on launch day — giving anyone a permissionless, always-on way to convert into and out of local currency, on Arc as well as everywhere else wFIAT trades. Ripio aims to be competitive wit traditional FX channels — banks, casas de cambio, and card-network conversion — because it strips out the layers of intermediary spread that typically sit between a retail rate and the underlying market price.

A Yield Home for wARS
